Privacy Policy

Your files are none of our business.

Last updated: September 19, 2026

The short version: Anillo does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. It makes no network connections at all. Everything it learns about your disk stays on your Mac.

What Anillo reads

To draw its chart, Anillo reads the names and sizes of the files and folders on the disk you grant it access to. It never opens or reads the contents of your files.

This information is held in memory while the app is open and is discarded when you close the results, scan again or quit. It is never written to a server, because Anillo has no server.

What Anillo stores on your Mac

All of it lives inside the app’s sandbox container on your Mac and is removed when you delete that container (see Support).

What Anillo sends

Nothing. The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no crash-reporting SDKs and no third-party code, and it does not request network permission from macOS.

Permissions

The App Store and this website

If you download Anillo from the Mac App Store, Apple processes your purchase and may share aggregated, anonymous sales and diagnostics statistics with developers, according to your Apple settings. We receive nothing that identifies you.

This website uses no cookies. To see how many people visit, it uses Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views anonymously: the page, the referring site, the country or region, and the type of browser and device. Visitors are told apart only by a short-lived hash of the request that is discarded after 24 hours, so you are not tracked across days or across other websites, and the statistics are only ever seen in aggregate.

Like any website, the hosting provider (Vercel) may also keep standard server logs, such as IP address and time of request, for security and reliability.

Children

Anillo does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
